The Perrysburg Farmers Market is dedicated to fostering community through local food, small businesses, and shared experiences in the heart of Downtown Perrysburg.

We support regional farmers and makers, strengthen local entrepreneurship, and provide a welcoming, accessible space where people can gather each week.

Rooted in tradition and driven by community, the market exists to bring people together around fresh, local goods.

Our story

The Perrysburg Farmers Market began in 1999 with just six vendors and a simple idea — to bring fresh, local products into Downtown Perrysburg and create a weekly gathering space for the community.

Founded under the vision of Vicki Stouffer, then director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the market was designed to energize Downtown and highlight local agriculture and small business.

Over the past nearly 30 years, the market has grown significantly while staying true to its original purpose. What started as a small seasonal event has become one of Northwest Ohio’s most recognized weekly markets, now hosting over 60 vendors and 20 food trucks each season and welcoming thousands of visitors every week.

GROWTH

From its early days as a small local gathering, the market has expanded into a major community destination. By its 25th anniversary in 2024, vendor participation had grown tenfold, and attendance now exceeds 75,000 visitors each season.

Today, the market continues to evolve while maintaining its core focus: Supporting local businesses, creating community connection, and offering a consistent weekly experience in Downtown Perrysburg.
